What is my name?

Up side down @.@ (She is sleeping when this photo is taken)

This is already the third week of writing story of my doggy. But i think, after you read the previous stories, you may ask why i use "She" and "Her" to represent my doggy. Why i don't call her name directly? Also, maybe you will think that to call my doggy as "She" or "Her" in the stories, would it be disrespectful to her?...umum, wait a minute. Be patient...Let me tell a story to you how i named "Her".

On 27th October, 1999, that was her third day in my family. She totally recovered from her sick and lives very cheery. My mum's friend who is living one level below my home has a Schnauzer too. It is a male dog whose name is Bobo. He was 3-4 years old at that time (But unfortunately, he passed away in 2006 because of illness...=_="") and he is very cute. So on that day morning, my mum and i bring "her" downstairs to let "her" meet Bobo. Guess what? when we put "her" on the floor and let "her" play with Bobo, "she" didn't scare of him. Contrarily, "she" kissed him "mouth to mouth".

"Oh my godness..." i said. How embarrssed that scene was. But my mum and her friend laughed loudly at them. After the kiss, Bobo was scared and tried to hide himself under the sofa and made some "woooo" sound (unfriendly sound) to "her". But "she" didn't give up to chase after Bobo and creeped next to Bobo. Suddenly, Bobo barked very loudly, so i embraced "her" back immediately. My mum's friend laughed at "her" and said "you kissed Bobo, so now, he is you boyfriend..."

After we were home, i laughed at "her" and said " you like Bobo, right?". My mum said it's time to give "her" a name. so i immediately suggested "Coco". My mum asked why and i said because "her" boyfriend is named "Bobo" and what followed "B" is "C" alphabetically. That's why, i called her "Coco". At first, when i said "Coco", "she" didn't have any response. So, everytime when i called "Coco", i usually got some snacks on my hand and she would come to me at once. As time went pass, i started not giving "her" any snacks but i still yelled "Coco". She seemed she knew that everytime when my family and i said the word "Coco", she would come to us.

So, that's the way i gave my doggy with the name "Coco". Coco likes her name (i think.....), because everytime we ask her to come, she shakes her tail and shows her happiness to us. (What's a cute and smart doggy....~~~)

*I told my family that if we have another doggy in the future, i will name it as "Dodo"...hahaha XDDDDD

Second Day, First Sick~~!

She is playing on the sofa which she couldn't jump off from it when she was just 4 months old.

On 26th October,1999, this was her second day in my family. Unfortunately, one thing happened to" her" on this day morning...=.="... When my father woke up on that morning (I remember, that was a Tuesday), he came out the room and went towards to "her" cage. (We kept her in the cage for that night was because we haven't taught her where to urinate...) "Ah.....What's happen with the dog?"..he screamed loudly which made me awake. So i ran out my room immediately, and i saw "her" just laid inside the cage and breathing deeply. At the moment, we didn't know what to do...so my father took her out and put her on the floor. She seemed just could move "her" eyes and looked at us hardily.

"What should we do? What's wrong with "her?" my mum was in a hurry and said. "Maybe we should give the pet shopkeeper a call and see what happen to "her"." My dad said calmly. A few minutes later, the shopkeeper answered the phone and he asked us to bring "her" back to the shop. Therefore, we caught a taxi and arrived the shop within 10 minutes. The shopkeeper saw "her" and he touched on "her" stomach. "What did you give "her" to eat last night?" the shopkeeper asked. My dad said that he gave "her" dog-food for dinner only, but he gave "her " two bowls...@.@

"You can't give that much to "her" in one time! That will make "her" stomachache." the shopkeeper said angrily. "But after "she" ate one bowl, "she" seemed not full enough. That's why i gave "her" another bowl." my dad explained. The shopkeeper told us that for a little doggy, we can just give "her" two meals only, one in the morning and one at night time as its breakfast and dinner. During each meal, we can just give "her" "ONE" bowl of dog-food only. Otherwise, "she" will get sick if she eat too much. So he gave us some pills for helping "her" to digest.

We took "her" home and gave "her" the pill. We let "her" laid on the sofa to take rest. A few hours later, "she" suddenly woke up and started barking. "She" barked because she couldn't get down to the floor as the sofa is too hight for "her" to jump down...hahaha...Therefore, i helped "her" to get on the floor and "she" started to play with "her" toys which we bought for her yesterday. (*She could bark and play which meant that she recovered already..^.^v..) After this" serious" case, we had a very valuable lesson in keeping a dog. We learned that we couldn't give too much food for it in one meal. Otherwise, it will get sick..@.@ (to be continued...)

First night - First home - First dog

Coco's first photo. She was just 2 years old...

On 25th October, 1999, there was a big change in my family. The number of family members was increased from 3 to 4...which means that there was a "newcomer" joined to my family. Yes...the newcomers is a dog, a Schnauzer.

As i remember, one week before the "newcomer" arrived my home, my family and i went to a pet shop and saw a very cute Schnauzer. The shopkeeper put "*her" on my father's solder and a few times when my father wanted to put her down, she did not let my father go. She just clawed tightly. She gave a feeling to us that "Bring me home, Bring me home, i don't want to stay here...". But finally, we put her back to the cage and left the shop. Because we were still thinking/arguing about whether that's a good idea to have a pet. Because we knew that to have a pet, we must put more time and responsibility to take care of it instead of just putting it at home.

So, during that week, my dad and i made an appointment with my mum that both of us would take care of it. But one problem came to us was that we did not know whether "she" was still at the shop or not...@.@ Therefore, my mum and i went to the shop again and luckily, that "she " was still there. When "she" saw us walked in the shop, she kept barking very loudly and her tail was shaking powerfully. She seems recognizing us. We told the shopkeeper that we wanted her to become our family member. So, after we paid the money, the shopkeeper gave her a shower. After that i embraced her and caught a Taxi home. (On the taxi, she sat on my leg very quietly and kept looking around. Honestly, that was my first time to hold a "real dog" in that close. I felt very exciting and i think she had the same feeling as mine. v^.^v)

15 minutes later, we arrived home. I put her on the floor and she started to check around. She looked at the sofa, looked at the tables, smelt at the cupboard, smelt the toilet =.=". Everything at home seems very new to her...A few minutes later, she barked at the door...Oh...it's because my dad came home. When he saw her, he was surprised. (Because my mum and i didn't tell him that we brought her home) He clawed her at once and she licked my dad's cheek <-- What a warm scene!!. My dad gave her dinner, we played with her and settled the cage for her to sleep that night... (To Be Continued...)

*She was just 4 months old at that time...
